Hello Ladies, We are in another membership drive and what a year it is….2004! Your membership dues for the year 2004, are now due. If you have not received your 2004 membership card, please pay your dues of $10.00 (checks made payable to LADIES AUXILIARY). You can bring your dues payment to the VFW Post or mail them to Lori Tunkel.

Ladies, do you know somebody who may be eligible to join the Ladies Auxiliary? If so, call me and I will send you application cards.

Eligibility in the LAVFW is limited to wives, widows, mothers, foster and stepmothers (who have performed duties of a parent), Grandmothers, daughters, granddaughters, foster and step granddaughters (who attained the status prior to the age of sixteen and for whom the duties of a parent were performed), sisters, half sisters, foster and stepsisters (who attained the status prior to age of sixteen) of persons who were of are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.

Members must be citizens of the United States and not less than sixteen years old. A copy of the eligible VFW member's DD 214 of other discharge papers must accompany your application for membership (unless that member is a current member of VFW Post 8645).
